Adaptive work is accomplished by finding a solution to seemingly intractable problems facing leaders; the solution is neither technical, nor obvious. As the material illustrates, leaders must motivate organization members to face demanding situations that arise from the organization’s own culture and values. Using the organization you chose within this week’s first discussion, analyze an adaptive challenge facing this organization.       
                                                                                                                                                    
1. Describe the adaptive work that needs to be accomplished.

2. Analyze your approach to resolving the problem. Be certain to include questions that would arise, and what trade-offs may be required in your analysis.

3. Describe the desired outcome. 

• Imagine you are seeking information on a new car that you are thinking of buying. Determine the level of trust that you would place in information provided by the following: a salesman at the car lot, the dealer’s Website, social media (i.e. Facebook), an associate from work, and finally a close friend. Discuss the key factors involved in assessing the amount of trust that you put into each.
• If you were in a position to persuade another person, explain whether or not you would slant information in such a way as to make your point seem more credible if you sincerely believed that your position was correct. Discuss the primary ethical dilemmas that this scenario could cause for both you and the person whom you are trying to persuade.

Medical costs are once again rising  rapidly, forcing health care back into political priminence. This issue direct affects you as a studnet, family member, employer, and or employee. The problem of medical sosts is so pervasive that it underlies thiree quite different policy crisis. First is the increasingly rapid unraveling of employer-based health insurance. Second is the plight of Medicad. Third is the lond-term problem of federal government’s solvency which is largely of health care costs.

Write an eight page paper addressing each of these issues. Be sure to choose a position (of which there are many) and substantiate that position with facts and economic data.
