Research Paper Summary Read and summarize, IN YOUR OWN WORDS, one scientific nutrition research paper about nutrition that is of interest to you. The article must come from a peer-reviewed journal, such as the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Journal of the American Medical Association, etc. (Ask me if you need clarification.) Include a summary of the purpose of the study, methods used, the results and the conclusion of the researchers. Limit your discussions to 4-6 pages (not including the title page or reference page), typed, double spaced. Grammar, spelling and punctuation will be considered in the grading of all written work. Submit through Canvas (TurnItIn is used too). The grading rubric can be found below. Any TurnItIn score >25% means you are “too close to your source.”  This can be viewed as plagiarism.   Your paper should be formatted in APA style. In the paper, you will present an overview of some aspect of nutrition. Be sure that the paper reflects this class. You may not “recycle” a paper – this means that you may not submit a paper that you have written for another course (at USF or another school).
