To develop a comprehensive Communications Strategy and a Communications Plan to publicise an event or issue. You will also create one form of social media that you believe is well suited to this task. This is a real world task carried out routinely in the workplace health promotion settings. This task will prepare you for the type of work you are likely to be asked to do in the near future. Having done this task you can feel confident that you will be able to carry out this task in the real world.



Why this task: Effective communication is vital in the health promotion space. We can produce fabulous research, interventions, and activities such as seminars and conferences but if we do not communicate well no one knows about them and nothing changes. This task asks you to develop a sophisticated communications strategy and plan for a specific activity. You need to ensure that your issue/event/activity is public
