Bullying can even drive people to take their own lives when it gets bad enough. Because of this, we must find solutions to the problem of bullying in our communities and our educational institutions. One solution to the problem of bullying is to increase the amount of assistance available to those who have been bullied. Counseling and support groups are two examples of what might fall under this category (Rettew & Pawlowski, 2016). It is also essential to ensure that those who have been bullied believe they can report the incident and that their statements will be treated seriously if they do. The prevention of bullying is another approach that can be used to deal with the issue of bullying. Campaigns against bullying and educational programs are two examples of what may fall under this category. The ramifications of bullying can be devastating, not just for the person who is bullied but also for the person who is bullied. There are many different manifestations of bullying, including verbal, physical, and social types of bullying. The repercussions of bullying can be severe and continue for a long time. Bullying can cause its victims to suffer from anxiety, sadness, and even thoughts of taking their own lives (Hartati et al., 2020). It’s possible that those who bully others also struggle with mental health issues like anxiety and despair.
