Information Gathering Plan for Amazon.com

The company Amazon.com was started by Jeff Bezos in 1994, and went on-line as a bookseller in 1995. The company was ground-breaking in the e-commerce world and is responsible for a lot of the development of how merchandise can be purchased over the Internet. Imagine that you worked for Amazon back at its beginning, and were tasked with developing the information gather plan for implementation of the Amazon.com web site. For each of the information gathering techniques listed in your textbook, discuss how/if you would use each technique in this situation and why/why not in the development of the requirements for Amazon.com’s first Web site. Be sure to include a discussion of the relevant stakeholders in each case. Don’t forget the fact that this is taking place at the start-up of Amazon.com in 1994, not in current times, so assess each information gathering technique/set of stakeholders accordingly!
