A description of a story taken from the mainstream media/popular press regarding an issue pertaining in some way to Dyadic Relations (e.g., parent/child, intimate partner violence, LGBT2SQ+, employee/employer, friendship, etc.). The article must be published within the last five years.

• How do theories and principles in Dyadic Relations apply to this story? Be specific in tying the events in the story to the theories and principles.
• Is there controversy about this issue? Describe the differing opinions/positions surrounding this issue.
• What does research in Dyadic Relations tell us about this issue? How could this research help us to understand the issue better and/or to provide solutions to the issue?
