You are asked to select and identify an aspect of your practice and apply a change initiative to it. Using the material from all four Units of Module learning, provide an analysis of the planning, implementation and evaluation of the change initiative, incorporating a SMART Action plan to summarise the process.
“To complete the essay, you should give an account of a change you would like to see implemented in your organisation which would have a direct effect on nursing care – with a clear rationale and clinical (or other appropriate) evidence for the change.
You should ensure you talk about the nature of the organisation, the importance of the leader and the strategies to be employed to ensure successful implementation of change and those which could block it. You should ground your work in appropriate theoretical context, and link this directly to examples from practice. Full detailes of what is expected of you for this assignment can be found in the marking criteria . In addition, you will be expected to develop a ‘SMART’ action plan – which outlines the strategy planned for implementing the change.
Word limit in this assignment is 3500 for the main part of the assignment plus 500 for the Action PLan = 4000 words maximum”
