LAB REPORT PLZ

LAB REPORT PLZ
Series and Parallel Circuits Purpose: The purpose of this lab is to determine the current , I, and voltage differences , V, in se ries and parallel circuits. The resistors in the series/parallel circuits are reduced to an equivalent resistance and the resistance , R, is verified by Ohm ’s law, I = V/R, using the measured total current and total volta ge. Theoretical ly, for series circuit s the resistances are additive and the equivalent resistance is = 1+2+⋯ And for parallel circu its the resistances add as reciprocals 1 = 1 1+ 1 2+⋯ Procedure : Choose three resistors of similar magnitude . Use the color bands to determine the coded resistance of the resistor. Measure the resistance of each resistor using the multimeter and determine the percentage experimental error of each resistor. Do the percentage errors fall within the tolerance value listed on the resistor s? In a parallel circuit?  From your data, what is the pattern for how current behaves in a series circuit? Extension Build a circuit as shown in the circuit diagram using two D -cell battery and any resistors except for the 10 Ω resistor. Determine the total resistance ( RAB) of the circuit, the current ( I1 –I5) flowing through each resistor, the current produced by the battery ( I0), and the voltages difference across each resistor. You may indicate these measurements directly on the circuit diagram.
