MTSNAMS Porter Five Forces Model Representation and Application Discussion

Students will choose a local health care system and juxtapose the system with the strategy theory and organizational structure and Power Point presentations supporting the Strategy model. Special attention should be paid to the first article in the HBR “HBR’s 10 Must Reads, On Strategy”. It is expected the student will read the entire array of articles in this book for support. Related Power Point presentations will be provided in the assignment section.

First. Try to explain the five forces model. What doed it represent and how can it be applied generically. Then, choose a hospital syztem in a given context and apply it directly. Specifically identify the different facets and explain tbe competitive position of the system.
