A policy that aims at preparing and responding to pandemics is the Pandemic and Communicable Disease Emergency Policy. The policy outlines all protocols and other ways to reduce the outbreak of the disease. The policies put in place for the current pandemic were adequate but I feel like they were enforced/introduced too late. Some areas were already experiencing a lot of cases if the virus so by the time these policies were enacted, it was too late. If some of the policies were enforced sooner, then I think the virus would not have spread as much as it did. Respond to this paragraph

The Pandemic and Communicable Disease Emergency Policy is a policy that is aimed at preparing for as well as responding to pandemic disease. This policy demonstrates all the protocols that need to be enforced if a pandemic were to occur. The policy also explains some ways of how to reduce the number of cases when trying to lower the disease. The policies put in place for our current global pandemic are adequate now, but before when it occurred was not. When we first heard about COVID-19 most people did not see it as a big deal because a lot of people were not aware of how serious it was and I personally blame that on the World Health Organization. Mainly because this should have been brought to the publics attention quicker rather than later. The protocols and as well as other precautions should have been enforced sooner, if it was then we probably could have taken down some of the amount of cases. respond to this paragraph
