Part Two: Observation & Assessment (15 points)   Observe at a minimum one child between the ages of 3 and 8 for twenty minutes during active play. The observation should take place outside of a classroom, although it can occur on a playground. This section will provide better information if there is more than one child present, but points will not be deducted for a one child observation. Please provide the following information (this section is adapted from an assignment written by Dr. Jade Burris, West Chester University): Who did you observe (provide detailed information about the children’s age, gender, how you know the children, developmental abilities – as well as any details about the adults in the space and what their role is)   Where did you observe (provide a description of the space(s), and how you came into the space to observe the children.   What did you observe (provide a detailed narrative of what you observed as you watched the child(ren) interact including how they engaged each other, the materials, and the space)       Computational Thinking Skills Assessment:   Reflecting on the observation and your summary, indicate in the table below what skills you think you observed and how you know.
