• Synthesize sources applicable to the theoretical background of the chosen topic.
  • Identify the authors’ research question.
  • Identify the research problem that the authors hope to resolve.
  • Explain whether or not the article is chosen for its usefulness in terms of theory of method, theory of content, or both.
• Identify the theoretical frame.
• Analyze ethical concerns associated with the research method.
  • Analyze the methods used by the authors of the article to investigate the identified research question.
• Analyze the results the researchers identified in the discussion of the reported research.
  • Identify areas of knowledge gaps for future research.
  • Identify whether or not the article is chosen for its usefulness in terms of theory of method, theory of content, or both.
  • Explain why you believe that this article will help to answer the research question.
• Write with logic, flow, organization, structure, and in the scholarly lexicon of the profession.
• Use correct APA style, format, mechanics, transitions, and proper organization and structure.
