TEAM 1 TECH TEAM ASSIGNMENT COLLABORATION AREA – TECH TEAM 1

Students assigned to Team 1 should use this discussion board to collaboratively complete the Week 5 Tech Team Assignment, which is a PowerPoint presentation containing an audio narration of the slides.

All students must post to the discussion board as a part of the collaborative process in accordance with the rubric below. Points are not earned for any collaborative efforts that take place via e-mail.

The PowerPoint presentation submitted by the team must describe MPS, MRP, Time Fences, and ERP, as well as explain how these concepts relate to one another. The PowerPoint file must include audio narration and speaker notes of at least 150 words in length entered to the speaker notes section of each content slide (all slides other than the cover slide, agenda slide, and references slide). Only one PowerPoint file should be submitted for grading. The cover slide of this PowerPoint file must list the first and last name of each student who was able to participate in and contribute to the development of the PowerPoint file in a timely manner. The team may designate a single student to complete the audio narration or the team may decide to have different students narrate different slides.

To be eligible for grading, the final PowerPoint presentation must be submitted to the designated assignment submissions area. Final PowerPoint presentations submitted instead to the team discussion board are not eligible to be graded.

Here is the rubric for this assignment:

Individual Student Posts:

As an individual student, you posted at least one post by Wednesday that substantively and helpfully furthers the team’s objective of completing and submitting the required PowerPoint presentation: 15 points;

As an individual student, you posted two additional posts that substantively and helpfully further the team’s objective of completing and submitting the required PowerPoint presentation: 15 points;

As an individual student, you posted on at least three different days of the week: 15 points;

As an individual student, at least one of your posts contains a PowerPoint attachment containing (1) at least two original content slide developed by you that could realistically be used in the development of the team’s final PowerPoint presentation, (2) 150 words of speaker notes in the speaker notes area associated with at least two slides, and (3) at least one reference and associated in-text citation: 45 points;

Team PowerPoint:

The final team PowerPoint presentation submitted for grading contains a cover slide, an agenda slide, at least two slides for each topic (MPS, MRP, Time Fences, ERP), at least two slides describing how the four concepts relate to one another, a summary slide, and a references slide: 35 points;

Each of the content topics is addressed accurately and substantively. Each content slide contains at least 150 words of pertinent and applicable speaker notes. Some graphics are used in the presentation: 55 points;

At least three references are used in the presentation and at least one in-text citation appears in the body of the presentation (in slide content or speaker notes) for each reference listed on the references slide: 25 points;

The presentation includes an audio track as a part of the PowerPoint file (not submitted as a separate audio file) that is clear and articulate and provides a narration of each slide: 25 points;
