In this paper, I will be discussing the matters that are related to policies attached to criminology and justice. Several journals speak about the criminal justice policies, but in my presentation, I will refer to Criminal Justice Policy Review (CJPR). This journal is in an excellent position to support me in my research since it gives an abroad information in the study of criminal justice policy. It also connects academics to policymakers.

The author of this journal article is David L Myers who is a professor of Criminology at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). He has been serving as the editor of Criminal Justice Review beginning from the year two thousand and five. He got his Ph.D. in the year 1999 from the University of Maryland. He got his interest in research and teaching in the juvenile justice and delinquency, theories in criminology, prevention of crime, criminal justice policy and lastly planning and evaluation. Most of his publications have appeared in criminal justice, Crime and Delinquency, studies in criminal justice, prevention of crime and safety within the community and many more. He is as well the author of Boys among Men, Trying and Sentencing Juveniles as adults and Excluding Violent Youths from Juvenile Court, The effectiveness of Legislative Waiver.

Criminal Justice Policy Review (CJPR) journal is an article published twice in a monthly, which is a material handling a wide range of disciplinary peer-reviewed with its commitment on the criminal justice policy study through the approaches in qualitative, quantitative and mixed methodology.
