Detailed Description: The purpose of this assignment is for students to locate and attend a professional nursing association meeting and write a max. 2-page summary of the experience. In the summary, identify the people in attendance, the issues discussed, what was learned about the professional association, and how it contributes to your understanding of professionalism and nursing. The summary should also use APA format. Meetings acceptable for this assignment include the RNAO Interest Group meeting. You may find information about meetings by going to the website of these professional associations. Maximum length is 2 pages, double-spaced as per APA (excluding cover and reference pages).
