As part of your final proposal, you must:

2. Evaluate how research impacts policy in the evolution of criminal justice.
3. Demonstrate the ability to communicate professionally with varying audiences, including peers, institutional officials, and community members.
4. Synthesize the dynamics for social change and community improvements as influenced by the field of criminal justice.
5. Apply professional and social ethics to make sound and ethical decisions pertaining to criminal justice.

To complete your final proposal:

• Integrate all of the components and assemble them into a coherent and cohesive whole.
• Create a title page.
• Write an abstract, introduction, and conclusion.
• Compile all of your references into a list at the end of your paper.
• Include any graphics, tables, or statistical charts in the appendices (optional).

Project Requirements

• Written communication: Written communication is free of errors that detract from the overall message.
• Style and formatting: Be sure to use proper APA style for your in-text citations and references. Also, use proper APA formatting to layout your paper (for example, running headers, double-spaced and indented paragraphs, Times Roman 12-point font, and 1-inch margins). • Structural components: Your final proposal must include the following components:

  3. Introduction (including the problem statement and concluding with the research question or hypothesis).
  4. Background of the Problem.
  5. Literature Review.
  6. Demographic Analysis.
  7. Proposed Model.
  8. Research Methodology.
  9. Appendices (optional).
• Resources: Your ideas must be supported with recent, scholarly sources that are properly cited and referenced in APA style. Your work on the final assignment should reflect a thorough review of the research literature.
• Number of pages: Your final paper must be at least 25 pages. This page requirement does not include the list of references or any appendices you may include at the end of the paper.
• Important note: Your integrative project must not involve any type of new data collection or research that you engage in yourself. You will be compiling and evaluating existing research.
