Each student may write about:

(1)
A current issue regarding IFRS implementation and how
it relates to his/her organization.

OR

(2)
A specific managerial accounting issue (such as ABC)
and how it relates to his/her organization.

Organization refers to the student’s current or former
employer. If you have never been
employed, please contact the instructor separately for instructions.

You may use the articles that we read in each unit as a starting
point, but it is expected that you would find at least 5 more articles which we
have not read in class as support for your paper. Articles must be from a credible source. Visit the Library Information page found in your Course Home for more information
about references.

Length

All papers should be at least 5 pages in length, not to
exceed 7 pages (not including title page and reference list). Use Times New Roman 12 point font, with one-inch
margins. Papers should be completed

Instructor Approval

All paper topics must be approved by the
instructor by the first day of Unit 5. You must submit your topic for approval
through the Dropbox (including your
IFRS or managerial issue, the name of your organization, and a brief
description of how the issue relates to your organization) as soon as you have
identified it, and you may proceed once you receive a response confirming the
appropriateness of your topic. Note that papers are due at the end of Unit 10.
