To add your script including references to each slide use this view
and insert the script and references in the “Notes”
(You can cut and paste into here from a word document or type straight into the
section)
To save your slides click on “File’ and then ‘Print’:
Make sure the print settings are set as below. Then click on the ‘print box (circled in
blue below)
Save your PowerPoint Show with the following file name:
yourname_studentnumber_NRSG265_Assignment1_slides
The next few slides cover how to make and save your PowerPoint
recording.

Now you’re ready to make your recording
Record the presentation by clicking “Slide Show”
in the middle of the tool bar & then click on
“Record slide show”
The ‘Record’ button is at the top Left of the screen you get that
looks like this.
Also check the settings in the top right to ensure the microphone &/or camera are
set correctly.

Make sure your microphone is turned on by clicking on the
microphone icon at the bottom right of the screen You can also
turn on the camera if you want to use it.
Once you’re finished your recording click on the grey, square
‘Stop’ button next to the record button.
You will then return to the editing page:
If you click on “from beginning” in the slide show view it will play what you’ve recorded.

Now click on “File’ and then ‘Save As’:
Choose the “PowerPoint Presentation (*.pptx)” option to save your recorded
PowerPoint.
Save your assignment as a PowerPoint Show with the following
file name:
yourname_studentnumber_NRSG265_Recording
Submit both files (slides file in PDF and recording file) to the
drop-box on your campus tile.
