Discuss Public Health and Preparedness for Chemical and Biological threats in the United States. Are there mechanisms in place for early detection of a potential chemical/biological attacks and the infrastructure to mitigate loss of life during and after an incident? Are drills and mock incidents being conducted in various communities. Are current facilities and procedures adequate to mitigate massive loss of loves in case of an attack? How can current measures of preparedness for chemical and biological threats be improved? How do public-private sector partnerships affect preparedness.
