Mergent Intellect includes company history, financials, news and social media, key players, list of competitors and industry information. It’s easy to navigate and uses charts, graphs and interactive features to provide data. In addition to specific company and industry information, MI has demographics and consumer data, both which can be drilled down to the state and county level.
he final Essay however will apply the following course concepts to relevant sections of the Industry Analysis:

1. Determinants of Demand

2. Determinants of Supply

3. Market Failures/Externalities

4. Elasticity of Demand

5. Utility Maximization

6. Costs of Production

7. Demand for Resources

8. Market Structure.

The group’s challenge will be to analyse how each of these economic concepts may be made relevant to which criteria of the Industry Analysis. Each of the economic concepts must be applied to at least (often more) one of the analysis criteria. Each of the Industry Analysis Criteria must have at least two relevant economic concepts applied.
