Please read “New York Times Subscriptions Rise, Advertising Drops (Links to an external site.)” and discuss the following questions by applying what you learn from this week’s lecture. What are the two types of business models involved in the change in The New York Times’ business model?   Why should companies have multiple business models?    In addition to the business models discussed in the article, what other business models do you think The New York Times can adopt?   this is a good one since it lets you apply many of the internal alignment and external alignment issues to come up with a good set of raises (and provide good, defensible rationale based on our class material!)
