UNIT 1 ASSIGNMENT 1: PLANNING A WEDDING Tania Lopez Quintana Herzing University For the project, I choose to organize a wedding where I have been involved in planning for my friend’s wedding; that’s why this topic was interesting to be. I will be creating and planning for a wedding where I have attended various weddings in the past. The first step will involve coming up with the wedding day and then creating a budget. This budget will ensure that the finances available are distributed among various activities such as food, decorations, security, transport, designer suits, etc. Sometimes coming up with a wedding is not only stressful but also time-consuming if you do not have a plan. Additionally we have to understand various sources of finance to meet the costs required for the wedding. The second step is looking for a venue where the wedding will be conducted; additionally, the venue’s costs ought to be within the budget. The third step will be sending invitations to prospective guests, which will help determine the number of people to attend. The fourth step is preparing the venue before the actual wedding. The fifth step is identifying people to help during the wedding day, such as; security, the drivers, clergy, etc. While the final step is the wedding ceremony itself. (Johnson, E. S. 2020).
