• In the online book
  Kelm, O. R., & Risner, M. E. (2007). Brazilians Working With Americans : Cultural Case Studies//Brasileiros que Trabalham com Americanos : Estudos de CasosCulturais. Austin, TX, USA: University of Texas Press,
  read the brief case “World Ship”. You only need to read the actual case in English, pp. 19-21.
  You can access the book online in the NEU library by entering the book title on the first page of the library site (search box), picking the link to the book, and then selecting the chapter in the ebook.
• Answer the following questions about the case
  Which US-American values and assumptions drive the change in policy? How do these values make the policy be perceived as “logical” in US corporate business practice?
  Which values and cultural patterns in Brazil are in tension with this policy? How does this tension become expressed in behaviors?
  How can the tensions between values patterns and policy be reconciled? Please suggest at least two concrete action steps and provide your rationale for taking these actions.
• Please use two to three additional sources, doing your independent research, on Brazilian culture to craft a full response. Remember that you have the NEU online library at your finger tips!
• Integrate concepts from the course readings to date.
• Use APA style referencing.

• If writing a case analysis is a new task for you, look for case analysis papers online to build familiarity with the approach. Please note that your recommendations section needs to be specific and action-oriented (not general and abstract).
• You do not need to provide an abstract for this paper – otherwise, please adhere to APA standards.

• Remember that it is your responsibility to educate yourself into the competent use of the APA format,
