Logbook Week 1 First week at work, reporting to the Marketing Department, meet and introduced myself to my colleagues. Background research about the company. Write a 1-2 pages report regarding my understanding of the company. Create an employee travel request form for the company. Research and list down all the associations that linked with the company’s target industries in Malaysia. Note down all the relevant information and details discussed during the company’s meeting. Transfer the noted information into PowerPoint slides. Study about how this company operates and partnership with other organizations. Week 2 Research and list down all the grants and funding in Malaysia. Create an employee timesheet for the Office Manager. Content creation and design project presentation slide for the Project Manager. Search and get quotation regarding warehousing service within a specific area. Research about how B2B marketing works. Read up on the company past presentation slides, which consists of a total of 8 industries. Industries includes manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, oil & gas, utilities, agriculture, smart city, and communities. Transfer and upload files from one portal to another. Week 3 Research and study the process and criteria for applying the grants for the company. Call the respective departments to get an enquiry about the details of the grants. Update the latest information about the grants. Write up an official email to respective department to request and arrange a virtual meeting for my Marketing Director. Week 4 Study and learn how to create a professional PowerPoint template. Week 5 Contact and ask for a quotation regarding warehousing service again as the previous contacts are not suitable for the company. Mark down all the government paid car parks in Ipoh. Then, slowly break down into each city and highlight the areas that covered with paid parking lots. Create and design a Chinese New Year related ecard for the company to share at its profile and with the partners as well. Week 6 Determine all the government paid parking lots in Nilai. Then, same as the previous task, break down into smaller areas and highlight all of those areas. Check who is the board of directors and organization chart of the provider/organization as well. Highlight all the Kuantan residential areas based on area by area. Circle all the industrial areas in Kuantan, from urban to rural areas Week 10 Competitors Analysis (Water Utilities Industry) Research the difference of the network technology between Sigfox and Nb-IoT. Device research (Remote Pulse Water Meter Reader and Digital Water Meter – Ultrasonic) Research each of the products offered by Nb-IoT and its partners as well. Positioning.
