This assignment was originally designed for multiple small groups. Obviously, we are a small class and need to make adjustments. I have chosen to make the assignment more appropriate for our class. See the adjusted assignment below. Read and review chapter 11 and 12 thoroughly as this chapter has valuable information to help you set up your classrooms in the future.  1. Consider the strengths and challenges of a second grade class. Use should use that information to design appropriate instruction through learning centers. 2. Create TWO Reading-related learning centers that will be accessible to all groups of students in your second grade class. Be sure to include at least one TEK on the slide as you present your centers. Take good photographs of your centers.  3. Share your centers in a presentation, making sure that there is a balance of text and graphics on each slide. You may use PowerPoint, Prezi, Google Slides, or any other presentation tool with which you are familiar or would like to learn to add to your repertoire. 4. Editing for structural accuracy, i.e., spelling, capitalization, punctuation, font style and size consistency; and completing any other relevant task. These components are typical of what you might find in today’s EC – 6 reading and writing classrooms, and much attention is given to each component in your Reutzel & Cooter textbook. 5. Remember to include your References / Resources list presented in APA format. (This should include all texts, websites, and any other form of reference from which you used content or ideas to compile this project.)
