Reading Analysis Assignment 1 Instruction This assignment is worth 15% of your course grade. It is intended to engage your analytical and critical reading and thinking. Reading critically is an invaluable skill and one that requires practice. Assess everything you read, as even very good scholarly research and writing will have gaps, biases, and assumptions (none of which are inherently bad). Some studies you may find to be controversial or challenging in their concepts or in their collection and use of data. But remember being challenged = an opportunity for learning. This is the first of two reading analysis assignments you will complete this term. The second assignment is due in March.
