Dire ctio ns This week, you are going to work on the Literature Review of your research paper . Y ou will annotate the remaining other 2/3 articles and you have to give in-text citations as a reference to that source. Ultimately , you will be writing a literature review of 5/6 sources in total in literature review part. The half portion has been submitted last week and half in this week. Find the sample student’s research paper for your reference. Requirements: You will need to organize the literature review with the following elements: An ef fective introduction of Literature review by giving information about the number of sources that researcher is going to consider for his/her paper . Talk about it briefly and write important points from each source with a meaningful sub-heading Make sure that you have submitted your literature review about 2/3 sources W rite in THIRD PERSON OBJECTIVE , no first or second person, which means to “I”, “we”, ‘you”, “us”, etc. within your essay . Every paragraph should organized with clear topic sentence and closing sentence Use Transitions in the beginning of paragraphs and within paragraphs to show cohesion Specific supporting evidence from your selected sources 3 total pages (not including the W orks Cited page) Paragraphs organized logically which should make sense to the reader Effective use of transitional words and phrases to connect paragraphs and sentences An ef fective topic sentence and concluding line under each paragraph Consistently clear , complete sentences with virtually no sentence-level errors that distract the reader or distort the essay’ s meaning.
