DQ1: The goal of a persuasive speech is to influence the attitudes, beliefs, values and acts of others. After watching David Dow’s speech, discuss how he employed the persuasive appeals of logos, pathos and ethos. An important element of persuasive speaking is the ability to anticipate and address audience objections. To what extent did the speaker address any objections or reservations the audience might have had toward the subject matter? Please provide specific examples.
