Value Proposition

A value proposition is the promise, belief, idea that one product/service/commodity, or in this case individual (you) represent a unique value to others. For this discussion posting, you will construct your own value proposition by following the steps below:

1. Review the Kent article

2. Begin your initial post by briefly answering these questions as you consider your professional presence in the world of work (bullet point phrases are fine):

• Who’s my target audience?
• What’s my competition?
• How am I different?
• What benefit do I bring?
• What proof do I have to support what I offer?

3. Next, write your own value proposition by answering the question: “what unique value do you represent to others that can be helpful or interesting?”
