Social influence:  This assignment is meant to be a quick and easy and fun one for youMany years ago the social psychologist Robert Cialdini wrote a book on influence.  His research suggested 6 principles of social influence. Your assignment is to give it a try.  Think of something you want someone else to do and see if you can consciously and planfully influence them to do it using one of these techniques.  Then, in a short response, tell me what you tried and if it was successful.
