  • 2) After reading Ellen’s document, go back to your text and review pages 240 – 241. You should now be able to create your Work Breakdown Structure. This is basically a breakdown of the tasks that will need to be accomplished to deliver your EHR project plan (your deliverable) for phase I. You should have a minimum of ten (10) tasks in the order they will need to accomplished. (10 points)
  • 3)Describe what kinds of hardware you will need for this project. Describe the purpose of the hardware components. (10 points)
  • 4)Describe what kinds of software you will need for this project. Describe why you need each of the types of software you plan to buy. (10 points)
  • 5)How will you insure that the patient record (paper and electronic) will remain available for patient access while your organization transitions to an electronic health record (Epic)? (5 points)
  • 6)You will need a variety of human resources to get Phase I of your project accomplished. Describe 10 different types of employees who will be critical to get your project rolled out within the 6-month timeframe. (10 points)
